Car Ordered

After months of building and rebuilding, on Saturday 4/16 I ordered my new MCS F56 (spec below) and can’t wait to join the community.

• B22 British Racing Green II Body Color
• Packages
• ZFL Fully Loaded Package
• 5A4 LED Headlights with Cornering Lights
• 2F2 17" Black Cosmos Spoke
• NOSTRIPES
• No Stripes
• Options
• 325 Rear Spoiler
• 383 Black Roof/Mirrors
• 4C0 Satellite Grey Door Panel
• 507 Rear Park Distance Control
• 5A1 LED Front Fog Lights

Recent car buyers out there, how long did it take for your car to show up on the Mini Owners Lounge and be built from order date. I have a build number and my dealer says 6-8 weeks (I live in New Orleans, LA). I want to believe him but have seen several posts where it has taken up to 12 weeks to get a new build to the states. Also anybody out there know what build numbers are being built currently? Looking forward to waving to/meeting all of my fellow mini drivers in the coming years.

I ordered in late August 2014, and took delivery in late October 2014. It was almost 8 weeks to the day, and I took delivery in California. Since your car presumably won't have to navigate the Panama Canal like mine did, you could easily fall into the 6-8 week window.

I ordered on 12/12/15 with a build date of 1/22/16. Took delivery on 3/9/16. Like selshan said, you can take a week or two off that timeline if your car doesn't go through the CA port.

I ordered mine March 31st, showed up on OL around April 3-4 with a Vin#, Finished production April 13th. Sitting at the port now ready to leave, there are a few ships leaving in the next 2 days hopefully it will get on one and make it to the Baltimore by the 27-28th then take the journey to the midwest. Got most of the same options as you only differences moonwalk Grey with black stripes and Cold weather and Parking and Driver assist (got heavy handed). Did they give you much off MSRP?

It is actually refreshing to hear that what the dealer is quoting is actually coming to pass. I think my deal was the best I could get. I emailed around to every dealer within 500 miles of me (Florida to Texas) and ended up with the best deal at my home dealership (Baton Rouge). In total I got $2,500 off of my build MSRP ($1,500 from the dealer and $1,000 factory promotion that started on April 15), which translates to about 8% of the total MSRP. In googling around it seems that ~5% off is a good deal, so I think I did ok.

BRG with black on black, very nice! Hope the wait isn't too long and definitely share pictures once you get your hands on it.

I ordered almost the same MINI w/options as you on Leap Day. Countdown is on.
(Substitute "white" for your "black" color choices!)
