Look What I Found!

Arrived home from a trip to town and as I was exiting the vehicle I noticed this part lying in the floor on the passenger side. I'm assuming it fell from under/inside the dashboard somewhere. Anyone familiar with this part. It's hollow and made from lightweight plastic. Maybe the A/C duct for the glove box? Anyway, I emailed a picture to my dealer and am waiting for a response.
To give an idea of the size... it's sitting on a 13" Macbook Pro.

Can't read the whole part number but would a search thru realOEM.com for that number be enlightening? Otherwise, my guess it's the dualflux waveguide from the pre-launch Time Warp actuator.

I believe its connected to the side of the seat or maybe the front of the seat where you adjust it. That's at least what it looks like.

EDIT: Now that I see you write that it's plastic maybe its not the lever Im thinking of.

This has happened before, it connects the glovebox to the cold air.

Thanks Hammerhands.

I had a feeling that was it when I examined the construction.

Mine fell out a little while ago too. Haven't gotten down there to refit it. Not sure I care if my glovebox is cold.

I had mine at the dealer yesterday for a checkup and they replaced the duct while I was there.

Why does the glove box need to be A/Cd?
