Hello! I was wondering if anyone has thinner, non-oem go faster stripes on the hood? I just ordered a set of 3-inch stripes because I didn't have anything else to spend my eBay bucks on, but the oem stripes are 5 inches wide I believe. Will stripes that thin look goofy? Since the stripes aren't pre cut, I guess I can be creative with the layout. Maybe a twin offset stripe if they are too thin. My car is pepper white with non contrasting roof.

 

I also have a pepper white r56 with matching roof and have been thinking about stripes. What color did you choose? I am planning on doing right side offset stripes as well but cannot commit to the color yet. I think two thinner stripes would look good. Post some pics when you do it.

 

Striping is easy. You can DIY or there are plenty of auto-trim places that will show you a book full of options or make things up for you.

 

I ordered back ones. I have some 1 inch painters tape, so I think I'm gonna do a quick mock up later today. I know 5 inch would be better, but I only had enough ebay bucks for 3 inch ones haha.

 

Black stripes look good on Pepper White.
