Brake upgrade

Thinking of upgrading my brakes for my 2013 R56S. Running 18" wheels so want to fill them up and get some more braking power for my upcoming tune.

Anyone any experience with these guys: http://ceikaperformance.com/Custom-B...Kit-p1884.html

Thanks!

Those kits are really expensive, check out the Wilwoods they work great and more cost effective.

I can also recommend the Wilwood brake kits. They are top quality and at a reasonable price.

Thanks!
I can offer you an opportunity to fill them up with kits as large as 14" up front and 11.75 rears.

TCE has even done a couple of 13" rear kits over the years but beware; those do require some futzing to make it all work.

The larger 14" kit are more costly than the box 13" front kits. Like any purchase, to some degree much of your choice will include a review of costs.

The more 'value packed' kits would be a four wheel 13/11.75 set up. All in what you want, what you expect from it, and what you're budget is.

Thanks - someone mentioned that the Wilwood rear brakes are very difficult to install. I found a new OEM JCW big brake set for 1750 (from mini dealer) so thinking to go for that.

To clarify; the rear kits are quite easy to install. The PITA portion is not the brake kit but the replacement cable kit necessary on the R56 and all aluminum trailing arm cars. (the stamped steel ones R53 can use the current parts without a lot of work) The replacement cables require some extensive effort to replace them in the cars 'tunnel' which can be a bit of a challenge and time consuming.

That's a REALLY good price for the JCW kit (assuming it includes front and rear calipers and rotors.)

Yeah, that's what i thought too. The SKU is 34110432802 - 99.99% sure that's the complete set.

It's sold by an official mini dealer so also sure it's legit...

I got the kit from TCE , nice you can pick the color you want the calipers to be plus the color of the Wilwood name on them.
I went silver with red writing!!

Thanks!!!
