Anybody know if it's possible or worth running a two stage intercooler ? Kinda wondered without chopping up the car or creating a bulky mess inside the car, where in the heck would you put it ?

 

Wouldn't you better off running W/M, additional cooling and hopefully it will help keep your valves clean and stop them getting burnt again. Win win!

Actually I made a comment (was kidding) in another thread that offended him (9-15-14) and I apologize twice even in PM. Fast forward to today and I get threats in my PM box, that was the last thing I expected! Then he threatened me with bodily harm if I posted in his thread again. If you look back to the beginning of this thread (Here, 09-16-2014) you'll see him responding to my posts like nothing ever happen, then he just flips out on me in the form of PMs today. Obviously we are dealing with someone who should be medicated.

To this day I have no grudge against him, apology wasn't good enough. I've been kind and polite since joking around 9-16-14, some just can't take a friendly joke.

 

Upgrading the turbo to the JM turbo GT45R. I have a turbo for sale that was done by GPOP and only has about 500 miles on it. It's one step up from a JCW turbo. I except pay and the price decided will include shipping. I'm gonna say $650.

 

For specs contact GPOP. They won't give the compressor map as they feel it's proprietary info. I had a pair if vernier calipers on the inducer and exducer of the compressor and took photos. Sent them to JM turbos. It's a hopped up JCW turbo. It'll handle slightly better power than factory. It bolts right on. What's a jcw with a tune capable of ? This can go slightly above. I was told we could get 250 no problem. 270 with meth. I WANT MORE THAN THAT !!

The turbo I'm selling is a KKK KO3 upgraded to a KO4 spec. Has the upgraded bearing. Cost me 990 bucks.

 

ECU Sent out. Waiting on a call and I'll pay for the ECU and methanol in one shot. Then I'll get ahold of Owen and order the turbo. Getting closer !! I need a Nathan air horn for this sucker !!

 

How long before you can get hold of the turbo, I'm guessing that's your last piece of hardware to install then its just a matter of Manic fine tuning your tune for the turbo. How do you load your updated files to your ECU or do they have a tune for that turbo?

With the methanol you'll be able to run their race fuel map as soon as your happy with the way the car is running

 

Yea, it's the last major piece. I'm gonna contact Owen on Monday and get the ball rolling. As far as loading the maps. I'm gonna just do what manic tells me. There's a dyno for manic close by. But if trying to get it in there to be dyno'd turns out to be like past correspondences have been, I'm shipping it to Arizona. I'll fly out, and drive it home. Worst case, I'll do what I just did for my silverado, put the scanner on it, look at live data at idle and different speeds. Then go to the interstate and make 3 gear runs. Write down the date and send it back to manic. But I don't think it'll come to that. There's a few people that wanna see the numbers as well as gather data from it for future maps on other cars.
