pirelli cinturato p7 all season...got 'em?

Anyone running the pirelli cinturato p7 all season tires on their mini? According to tire rack, they're the top rated grand touring all season tires, which is what I'm looking to go to next, probably. My kumho ecsta 4x's are at about 45k miles, and definitely should be replaced soon (probably about 5k miles ago, still decent tread on them though). I'm just looking for a good all season tire with good (preferably great) handling, tread life, etc. that won't break the bank and will perform decently in the snow that we get here in Maryland (which can be often). Thanks for the help!

Bump!

I'm considering these tires too and am interested if any other owners have positive experiences with them!

My R56 is running on dunlop sp 01 16 inch, but I've tried both the P7 cint A/S and summer version on a countryman S FWD loaners (205/55R17). To be honest, A/S wasnt that grippy in the dry and feels a bit weird in some 270 degree freeway ramp compare to summer version. hvnt tried then in the wet as theres no rain when i got the loaner. I would prefer the summer coz it feels better in the dry.

I 've never used the new P7's, but I've had 4 sets of various other Pirelli tires and I've found all of them distributed the most road noise into the cabin while driving. Because of this I've switched to Continentals' and I find them to be the quietest. The DWS's I've got now are some of the quietest tires I've owned.

Ditto that. P7 noisy. DWS quiet. But I live in the PNW where the W and S of DWS are a big deal. Not sure I would choose them if lived in dryer environs.

Hmm well I'm still up in the air. all the tire rack reviews/surveys point to the p7 all season plus as being the best in its category for the stock size. treadwear rating of 700 seems optimistic though.

It's kind of ironic that the original P7 used to be classified as Pirelli's highest performing tire and now the new model is classified as a "Grand Touring" tire.

So I just thought I would give you all an update on the tires...went with the P7 cinturato all season plus...and i love them. They're extremely quiet, ride very nice, but they do seem to squeal from a start with heavy throttle easier than the kumho excsta 4x i had before. I've only had them for about 2k miles, but so far I definitely approve. Their rain handling is pretty good too, and through some turns (dry conditions) they seem to grip nicely though I honestly can't tell if they're better or worse than the kumhos in that regard, but in every other, they are. Plus I'm hoping to get some serious miles out of them, with their 700 treadwear rating compared to the kumhos 420. I had the kumhos for about 45k miles. Lastly, the mpg has not changed, though it did go up by about 2mpg after I did the carbon cleaning (but that was with the old tires). Overall, great new pirelli tires, got them with free shipping online (though I'm not sure if I can say which site on here?) from a place that rhymes with squire-hazy.

Yep, put them on last Nov and they are a huge improvement over the Conti run-flats that came on the car. And they did great this past snowy winter in Missouri.
