JCW stock exhaust vs. stock MCS exhaust

Can anyone tell me if there's anything different between the 2 factory exhausts, except the back box muffler?

I know that both have 2 resonators after the downpipe to a midpipe (can I assume that those are the same for both cars? Same tube diameter?)

Also, is it true that the JCW Kit muffler drones? Thanks in advance!

Same diameter, no second cat, one resonator for both the JCW is a little smaller, and it does not drone. I have had both and whoever said it drones doesn't know what they are talking about.

I have a Clubman with the JCW engine kit and I'm not convinced that the only difference with the kit is the removal of the resonator and different exhaust tips. I think the mufflers that come with the kit are the same as the ones that came stock on the car?

so, if i got either the stock factory JCW muffler or the stage 1 kit muffler and installed it on my MCS, it'll essentially be the same as the complete JCW exhaust system but with an extra resonator?

The stage 1 has the same JCW exhaust. There is no difference from the factory or the kit. It as one resonator, I think it is 12 to 14 inches long. Been awhile forgot how long it is. It is missing a catalytic convertor that the stock MCS has. So to sum this up;
Stock exhaust
larger resonator
1 catalytic convertor
Bigger muffler

JCW exhaust
smaller resonator
no catalytic convertor
smaller muffler different tips
