Mouse winter snacks in dashboard?

I pulled out of the garage this morning and heard some rattling and something rolling around in the area of the glove compartment. I have pulled everything out of the glove compartment and the"secret" compartment but to avail. My wife and I took a test drive and we narrowed it down to the right side. My current theory is that a mouse got into the car last night was storing some winter snacks (in the airflow vents?). Anyone else ever have this problem? Any thoughts on how to get at this annoyance, short of tearing the dashboard apart?

Do a search - you will be amazed at what you find.
Try a Google search too.
I have had them in my air filter. I put a wire screen over the opening now and put smelly drier sheets around the garage.

The first time I changed the cabin air filter in my old '03, I found a dead, mummified mouse in there too. *YUCK*

Umm go under the right side where the interior filter and see if he is there. Give him an eviction notice.

Build this streamlined, hi-tech rodentia elimination apparatus and you will never worry about unwanted guests again (can't vouch for it's effectivness on in-law control).

Last Saturday one of our local lawn and garden radio shows recommended this stuff:

http://www.greenfeet.com/Mouse-Magic...d_08238_d_0000

It uses peppermint and spearmint oils in a corncob base, so if nothing else, your car will smell nice.

Best of luck,

Spridget

Sounds like he is about to be homeless. Vacuum out everything cause there is probably nesting deep in there.
