Interesting that my build is not available on the new config. I'm glad I ordered first! The config will not let you group the JCW pkg with the Premium pkg but that is what I have coming.

My wheels/rims aren't available on the configurator for some reason.

+ $1,000?

Does anyone know of some rationale, besides the profit motive, for Laguna and Highclass to cost $1000 extra?

I have HCG...and it might be a different kind of paint...it always looks different. Nobody knows what color it is...I've had people think it was black, some have said navy, some of said purple....its a really unique color.

Laguna Green and Highclass grey don't cost any more on a Coupe, so I can't believe its actually a cost issue.

So now you can't get the Toffee color line in a Hot Chocolate mini? What sense does that make?

At least they could offer marshmallows.

Same, looked at my build list, and you cannot make the mini I have coming.

That's silly, they'll let you have the toffee seats in a hot chocolate, but not the colour line.

In my explorations, it was seeming to be more permissive in the colour combinations it did let you have.

Woot the options are actually gonna save me $400.

Just found out where the $400 came from. In the 2011 config. your charged $250 for english oak and $250 for the black color line then minus the $100 for the price hike, but now for 2012 it's no charge, weird but I'm not gonna argue that one.

Here's my order list :D I hope it's as fun as the Evo.

2012 Cooper S Hardtop

Midnight Black Body Color $500.00
Anthracite Headliner $250.00
Chrome Line Interior $250.00
Black Headlamp Housings $100.00
White Turn Signals $100.00
Heated Front Seats $500.00
Leather: Gravity Polar Beige $1,500.00
Dynamic Traction Control $250.00
Xenon Headlamps $500.00
16" 6-Star Spoke Black $0.00
Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof $1,000.00
Driving Lamps Black $620.00
Roof Rack Base $250.00
JCW Sport Wheel, Leather $529.00

Total As Configured $30,149.00

Just built my '11 MCS on the updated configurator. The best I could do with packages and options was about $1000 more than mine listed for - basically the cost of the sunroof as it is no longer a part of the Premium Pkg. Of course I end up with a couple of items I didn't include in my build back in January like Chrome Line interior. I had considered waiting until the '12's became available but I am glad I ordered when I did.

Of course waiting to order a '12, I would have also missed out on 7 months of fun motoring.

Looks like you can standard all-season tires on the 16" rims now. I think for 2011 you had to get run-flats if you wanted all-season.

My configured MINI CM S ALL4 is the same in 2012, except now $100 more, but with $100 worth of floor mats. The bench seat is now available (at no extra charge), but still shows a full rail (like to see how they do that!). Otherwise, it's all the same!! I'm still trying to decide on the white turn signals. Are they white on the side, too, or just front & rear?
