Missfire and loss of power

Hello All,

We have a Mini Cooper S 2007 where I noticed a "small issue" during a trip today.

When the car is rev'ed up to between 4500 - 5000 rpm's during acceleration in 2., 3. or 4. gear, there is a short loss of power and the engine misfires 1-2 times before it revs further up.

Any good ideas or input to what this could be?

Thanks.
I found this could be the problem from a German Mini forum.

Plugs will be changed tomorrow - any advice for the best choices?
(Wires will follow if needed)

Hey Chris,

What plugs did you go with? I need to change out my BF's plugs on his 2007 S and am looking for the best.

Thanks,
Chris
