Big feet and little Mini

Does anyone else have feet big enough that it inhibits driving in any way? I wear size 11 or 12 (depending on the shoes) and I can feet the wiring above the go pedal and it's driving me nuts. I'm planning on getting under there and tie wrapping some things up to get them out of the way. Anyone else have this issue?

13's here and no issues at all. Doesn't sound right that you're hitting wiring with smaller feet than me. Maybe something's hanging lower than it should?

I wear a size 11 and haven't had any problems at all. Even my son who wears a size 13 hasn't complained at all, although he's just learning to drive so really hasn't spent much time in the drivers seat

Got you all beat. I wear a 15. I drive a JCW which only comes in a manual. Most of the time I wear boat shoes like the Sperry Docksider but for work I dress it up with a pair of Doc Marten boots . Its a bit harder to drive with the Docs but not unmanageable.

14-D's here, and no problem with any wiring.

I'm usually wearing my New Balance 992's and they work great. On the occasion, though, that I'm wearing work boots, I need to be real careful about which pedal my right foot is on.

Damn, to the OP maybe you should move your seat back a bit. Could be that you are sitting too close and using your whole foot to hit the gas. Move your seat back a bit and use the toes and front part of your foot for the gas. Thats what I do......
oh and I got childrens feet 7.5 .

I am with you onefish2, size 15's here too and no issues. Like KevinC said, I would look to see if wiring is hanging down.

So my wife just got home and I went out to check the car. There is no wiring hanging down so that is comforting. It looks like my foot is probably touching the plastic panel as it comes down from the dash, near the steering arm. I rest my driving foot with the heel of my right foot right at the base of the pedal so that probalby explains why my (apparently tiny) foot is hitting that panel.

Well, good to know you aren't ripping wires out while driving/shifting. FWIW, I have an R50 5-speed and R56 Auto and wear a size 16 and have no issues.
