I was asked to update pics so though this was done over a month ago, this was the latest mod... (updated pics on first page)

Other than a roll bar, I think I’m done....

What happened to the diffusers?

I think I've read "I think I'm done" about 500 times from you

Anyway, I'm debating on selling Oscar. I love the car and nothing is wrong with him, just time to try something else.

I've been driving this countryman for 3 days now. Yesterday I signed all the papers and today I'm suppose to go in and sign the contract. I'm just not sure I need two minis.

Gotta make up my mind today.

Mark
Curious... why would you sell it if you love it and nothing's wrong with it? I am just dumbfounded because you have done so much and it looks just amazing. If you can afford it, why not keep it as well? Just some thoughts. Cheers.

I bought them from a vendor in Russia. I'm not sure the difference between a Euro Mini and one on our side of the pond but they didn't fit at all.

I had to cut 3" out of the center of them and lengthen them by about 2" so I could tie them into the bottom flat panels along the entire bottom of the car.

Not sure how much they work at the track but they look cool as hell...lol.

Is the small square piece on your rear bumper just above the tailpipes for a hitch? If so, any tips on getting that done? I'd like to get a hitch for '11 MCS with the JCW aero kit and it appears I'll have to some modifications.

Why do I feel like Oscar will never tow anything?

Ha.... Not only does Oscar tow an aluminum trailer, I made a special built rack to carry my track tires on.

So there....

The hitch cover comes with the hitch from Minidomore hitches. It comes with a cover but it is textured so I smoothed it out and painted it to match the bumper.

HTH’s,

D'oh!! Of course you would have a special rack on a special trailer for track tires. What on earth was I thinking?

No problem, just make sure you buy Brent’s wiring harness for your car. I was unable to find a harness from any other place. I think it’s like 80 bucks.

Amazing work. I think you absolutely made the right choice on the color. The Lambo orage was too aggressively bright. Good for a 300,000 car that always wants eyes on it. Not good for a MINI. The ONLY thing I don't care too much for is the spoiler...but that's just me. Something about large spoilers on hatchbacks just doesn't do it for me. But if you track it, that makes more sense than not to. Love how you matched the interior trim to the car color.

Hopefully you and oscar can get many years of many joyful miles. Again, great work

Thanks bud, the wing is either hate it or love it. I couldn’t find one that I wanted so I had to make my own. I made a couple of others that I wasn’t satisfied with but I was “okay” with this one.

I’d really like to make a smaller one... one of these days when I get some time.
