your photo is backwards

 

Blainestang: Must be something that I missed. That in other parts of the world that they spell Cooper S backwards, and the steering wheel is now on the wrong side. Oh well......

 

Actually, I think you will find that the picture is correct -- look at the wipers. The car really does have Cooper spelled backwards -- I've seen that several places, who know why.

Oh, and yes, I have heard rumor that there are actually right hand drive versions sold in other places in the world.

 

I thought fishbert was being funny... okay, I thought fishbert thought he was being funny...

Seriously though, why would they put it backwards? What's the logic behind that?

Am I missing something?

BTW. Someone posted a pic of a similiar green (lighter shade) on a mini somewhere... that would have been my second choice.

I was going off the side lettering... I guess that's meant to be read in a rearview mirror when powersliding around a corner?

Actually, White Lightnin’ didn’t meet my wife or I until she drove to NC from Alabama for me to fix her car because her dealer bodyshop screwed up her car. Debbie and her husband (Jack) are really nice people and are perfect “mini” people.

As conversation was going, us “mini” people had the same interests about our car. My wife really isn’t into the mini thing and had made the comment (Oh, you MINI people are all alike)

She didn’t mean anything bad, she just thinks it’s funny how every time I get together with other MINI people, we all eat, breathe and sleep MINI.....lol.

She just doesn’t get it. Now, if there was a group gathering on purses or shoes, she could be the head speaker.

 

If you do sell it. I hope you stay with us in the MINI community. And Too bad I'm just a youngin' with a MINI already. because I'd be all over your car when it hit the market.
