This is a thread to help people like me, who have ants in their pants about the 2011 MCS.....

 

Here are some interesting pictures of the refresh I have not seen before.

 

My lease on my 07 is up this Thanksgiving.

I'm a good bit over the mileage.

Not sure which of the following to do.

A. Buy my car out since it's wrapped...ect..and all done up like I want already.

B. Get a refreshed 2011 as they should be out by then.

I'm leaning towards A as I don't want to pick up a 2011 if in 2012 the awesome coupe comes out or an all new model in 2012 or 2013.

If you're going to lease another MINI, your dealer may be lax about the mileage. If your car is perfect and you have all the options you need and the cash to buy, that's probably the best option.

I'm planning on buying the last model year JCW when it's released (hopefully something as good as a GP), unless the next Gen is looking like a good option and there will be a JCW around launch.

 

Looks like the standard MCS bumper is getting a set of brake ducts. Other than that the bumper looks exactly the same. I smell some retrofit action in the future.

And I love how they cover up the MINI wings trying to hide what the car actually is.
