Indicator & Warning Light Check

I know I read it somewhere and have performed numerous searches without success..

I read about a method (series of magical button pushes) to have an R56 sequence the indicator and warning lights in order to verify their operation..

Can someone please point me to that method??
Thanks, Dan..

I don't think such a method exists? But you should keep checking to make sure!!! ;-).

To perform a diagnostic indicator light check push and hold both tach buttons for about 15-20 seconds. It will cycle through all the lights.

Thanks Ox. I had a brief flash of my engine light when I was driving quite spiritedly... quick right then left, I was concerned it was oil starvation.

Does it run the tach up and down and go through each light on the tach as well? I've seen that one by going through the service menu to activate it. Lite up each light one at a time, ran the tach/speedo all the way up down, etc. Looked pretty cool.

Well that's my '07 Cooper and why they bothered to top it out at 150 is beyond me even downhill it probably couldn't get up there. The MINI with the 160 speedo is in production this week.
