So I'm thinking about getting a Justacooper, but I'm not a huge fan of the chrome grille. I've seen a few PW Coopers on NAM that have the Cooper S-style black honeycomb grille, and my question is, where/how do you get one? How do you install it? I already ran a few forum searches and found nothing, so apologies if this has been talked about before. Thanks in advance!

 

You get it from the dealer. It's the grille from the aero kit.

With the stock front bumper, your grill patterns won't match though because the OEM grille pattern and the aero grill pattern are different.

It is installed by a few simple clips.

 

I was looking into the same thing because I sometimes think there is too much chrome in the grill of the Cooper...

Cliffnotes:

The grill from the Cooper S is a different shape, so it doesn't fit without some modification. However, you can buy a JCW one that is designed specifically for the Cooper from outmotoring, among other places, which is easy to install. The only downside of this is that the JCW grill has a slightly different design than the lower grill on the Cooper and Cooper S. To some people it's noticeable enough to annoy them... to others, it's not.
