Does anyone make brake decals here?

Hey I am wanting to paint my calipers soon and thought i'd try and find some brake caliper decals. I had purchased some off ebay for my old car, but cannot find any for the cooper. I have also been trying to email some sellers but nobody seems to like to reply lol.

heres what im thinking-made these for one of the people who didint reply: (measurements are rough)

If i finally find someone, are you guys interested in them?

Neat idea, but what are they made out of? Kryptonite?

Because any kind of adhesive thingamajig will be fried as soon as I hit the twisties... burned the paint off my calipers at 700F+....

I painted my calipers on my GMC envoy with ceramic paint and got some decals from Decal FX applied them then clear coated, no problems.

I think the best option would be to paint the calipers in white in the area that you are wanting the decals. Then apply the decals and paint red or whatever color you want over the whole caliper and peel off the decals to reveal the white lettering. That way the logo is painted on. No worry of peeling there.

I'm confident that Envoy brakes and 90% of the world's Lambo brakes never see the heat that mine did at VIR last week... or at the Dragon last month. But neither do 90% of the world's MINI brakes... so whatever makes you happy!

id try painting the caliper the desired color (mine will be done red in spring), then masking off what you dont want to have the design (i.e. tape entire caliper except for "MINI" showing through, or whatever youd like), then paint that a different color (white, black, body color). that eliminates the need for worrying about melting stickers on your brake calipers

search ebay - there's a person/company that sells decals (listed for brake calipers). I painted the calipers on my boxster and then used their decals for the porsche logo. they looked great and they didn't melt or warp. it's a great sounding idea to mask off the letters you want to paint and then paint them another color, but then again testing whether or not parachutes really save lives using evidence based medicine principles sounds like a good idea unless you're the one jumping out of the airplane sans parachute!!!!!

hahaha couldnt agree more...it cant be that hard though, just time consuming, but it should prove worth it in the end. itll deffinatly be a one-off job, which is part of being a mini owner.....you-ification, right?!

ill give it a shot in the spring when i can walk outside and not see my breathe every time i exhale. will keep you guys posted.
