daffodildeb, ur right, this would solve the problem
in fact, i drove w/the steering wheel up and i could see the tach fine
but i dont like the steering wheel up that high, i have it all the way down
and my seat is all the way down as well,
not a big deal,

Audio System Disappointing
My Sony Xplode with shitty speakers sounded better. The audio System is a major disappointment for me. I love to Jam when I drive and for what you the system is sub-par.

my local club is hated by every dealership in the city and have to go out of the city to another county to get good service which is 1 hour away from home....uhhhhh....no.......sorry.....no go.....never hear of this BMW car club of America nad will check it out.
I am a small person and drive with the seat pretty for forward and the seat belt always gets lost behind the seat. And you need to open the door to retrieve it -- DRIVES ME CRAZY!!

I have an 09 MCS and I do not like the location of where you hook up the USB cable (is that the correct terminology) for your iPod. Mine is way in the bottom of the console and I can barely see the holes.

daff, I have know f------ idea! I went on to the manual threads and found it. Its been a few weeks, I will try and find it today. My 07 didn't have a manual with it, so this makes it more challenging. I do know that you can do it. I will get back to you.

Of course, as I got closer I saw that it was an optical illusion, but years later, I still think it was a dumb pattern to use...

i agree on not being able to see the top half of the tach cuz its blocked by the steering wheel
i wish it was above the wheel, possibly right on the dashboard, kinda like the Si
also, the throttle response feels a bit delayed to me, even in sport mode
also, the revs dont climb as fast as i'd like, after driving an Si it feels slow
would a lightened flywheel do the trick?
i know there is a mod (supersprint booster?) for the throttle response,
but i dont feel like shelling out 300+ for it
