Yes, I expect it would, but I would say the same thing in this situation. If you were asking for a clinic then you've already decided to get the abortion. Therefore, you would not care about my opinion on the matter.

Like I said, I don't mind the discussion but it's not really helping answer the original question, which is the reason I contribute to forums. That is why my post was actually a reply to the OP suggesting that he pick his words more carefully in the future in order to get useful answers.

 

all things considered this was a decent thread, OP now knows to excercise the search button, or utilize the Home page Market. He has also been shown first hand the kind of stigma facing the design he wants. I dont particularily think either side is right, however as MINI owners we can only present the facts and let him decide. Many times are decisions are affected by public sentiment. OP needs to let us know when he decides, You owe it to us for all of our effort spent on the thread.

 

It's a public forum. You have to expect discussion when you post a thread, regardless if it will help *you*, or not.

Some come here just for help, others come here to communicate and/or be entertained. You have to realize that when you make a post, and especially when you start a thread. It's open season on your words.

And yes, the OP certainly could have worded his request for help differently. IMO, that's evidence that he was looking for some discussion on the contraversial topic. Read that opening post again and I think you'll see what I mean.

Yea if you just had people simply asking questions, and have them simply or directly answered it would get pretty boring (his question was simply answered on the first page). The idea of a forum at least for me is to have open discussion about topics.

However CR&PW&JB if your girlfriend wants to get an abortion, I really don't think this would be a good site for you to get any sort of answers.

On google, type in REBEL FLAG ROOF GRAPHIC and just a couple listings down you'll find a UK ebay store that sells them for about 75 pounds sterling delivered. It's not one of those "wall to wall" models, but must install on a white roof Mini only for that reason.
