R56 Rebel flag roof graphic?
I'm sorry but consideration for others really is the least important issue, and shouldn't even enter into the equation at all, its not the publics car, if we had to consider everyones opinion we would have 0 freedom of expression in this country.
Unfortunately, it does become the key issue when others don't have respect for peoples rights to express their opinions however wrong we may think they are, and go to the extent of vandalizing someone's property (or the fact that the OP has to even worry about this).

arguing about their "degrees" and "tour guide jobs", or "oh you might offend someone" Oh Help me!!, please save us from ourselves, these people know what we should do and how we should act soooo much better than ourselves,
.
I'm sorry but out of a sea of "tard convention" posts this is one of the VERY few that makes any sense,

.And I'm guessing both of you were born into the "me" generation. Yes ?

So... you're one of the odd ***** who isn't representative of your generation. Still a "me first" guy, regardless of how old you are. And don't deny it, your previous posts speak loudly and clearly.
It was actually directed at bobj, sorry but him posting after your every post is starting to blur. Your right I don't find being called a "me first" kind of guy offensive, but really to be honest who isn't. I mean maybe you can sell yourself that you are, say you put your loved ones before yourself, or the common good, but thats subjective and always for selfish reasons anyway, however this is an old philosophical debate that doesn't need to take over this thread, so I'll stop there.
Gentlemen...
Ya'll were doing so well but dagnapit, now all ya'lls have gone and done made a mess. Like a bull with loose bowels yer spewin it all over the place. Get some straw and shovels and clean it up before ya'll slip and find yourself nose deep.
Yes, I had breakfast with fellow MM.org members in Ft Worth (cowtown) near the Stockyards.

Live and let live. But there is a line. I am not offended by a flag, in general. To me it shows me how that person's views align on a certain topic, which can be very helpful in understanding that person. From there, we can decide how we may wish to align ourselves, or not, with that person.
I think the point we missed was to check with the vandals for their opinion.
I know of a group of Black, Gay, born in the south, living in California, NAACP, have a BS in civil war history, who grew up in an Irish neighborhood, know how to fire bomb, vandals that are going to convoy to Tennessee to F that car up. They've also asked me to start a thread called I have a Confederate Flag on my Mini. That way they can travel across the nation vandalizing these cars. I know all of this, because I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

The car could be vandalized but I doubt it. People may judge you wrong and make assumptions but they won't necessarily vandalize your ride. And if the car does get vandalized, how do you know the confederate flag made them do it? What about the car in another thread that had the window and part of the A pillar ripped out? If he (she?) had a confederate flag (or American flag, or Mexican flag, or cross, or pentagram, or Darwin fish, or rainbow) on it, everybody would point to the sticker and say that's why the car was vandalized. Vandals don't need a sticker as an excuse to tear something up.
pass that popcorn!
pass that popcorn!
Now IMHO, the OP wasn't asking for anyones opinion on if he should. So anyone coming out saying he shouldn't do it because its offensive and may be vandalized, is basically supporting the position of those vandals and legitimizing them. Which to me is taking away or at least trying to limit his right to do so.
Vandalizing a car cause you dont like the rebel flag or a gay pride sticker are the same. There is no difference, though Im sure I know which one would make the news.
It's no different than any other risk you might take to express yourself. Some dude out there might hate Andre the Giant because he said something nasty to him at a con ten years before he passed, see a sticker with his face on it on your car, and decide to smack the bonnet with a tire iron. Did you have any way of knowing this could happen? No and it is still just as wrong for that person to vandalize your car. I don't care what Andre the Giant did to him, it's not Andre the Giant's car.
Food for thought.
Now who could hate Andre' ? He was great, I met him at the Boston Garden back when he was sidelined with his foot injury. Bless his departed soul, a really nice guy.
Having said all that, if somebody had an Lou Albano sticker.....well we won't go there....cause we all know that Albano's a Bum!

Good point. Never had the pleasure of meeting him myself but I've always heard he was a decent guy... and what was with that Albano chump anyway? And what did he put in his hair? Brylcreem?

...this car had one on the roof...
