awaiting my lb/w any thoughts on buying gold rims? wat mods have u made. any thought on lighting blue welcome

 

Not sure the gold rims would go unless you outfitted the rest of it in gold. Maybe with a body color roof.

 

Congrats on your order. I to await LB MCS-week 28..i thought of black rims with black stripes and black roof but not gold. The black rims with Lb is wicked

 

yea ive looked at black rims to but ever since i seen the blue subaru with gold rims i thought of wat it would look like

 

i always thought that combination only looked good on a subbie... maybe someone can change my mind. Hopefully, someone can post photos.

you dont really need one, get a CAI first and see if that's enough noise for you.

Cold Air Intake, if you have an open system, you should be able to hear the recirculating valve work. From everything i've read in the drivetrain section, a real BOV isn't needed.
There's quite a few threads in the drivetrain section, i suggest reading through some of them, especially the forge threads.

ive been looking forever with the blackout and tints and some extended sport striipes on nam since forever...

btw... as cool as subies are, minis are nooo subies... no need to imitate one either. i do agree that gold looks really sick on blue but i think for minis... they look sick on a black mini...

Yep Picked her up yesterday morning, Very Happy! Happy,Happy, joy,joy happy, happy joy,joy. LB metallic looks great in the sun.

 

i got free tint from dealer and definatly gonna black out the chrome it just to overated and as for the rim color i like black but i love gold but im waiting till i need new tread ill probably go for black since it seems to b the majorities favorite

 

I'm looking into gold/bronze wheels as well.

I personally think it would look awesome. I love blue/gold. Only issue, is the car would look really funny if there was any chrome left...
