"Checkerboard" License Plate Frame Polished

I just found out that dealer put my "Checkerboard" License plate frame polished at front, not back. It will look much better on the back. I tried to remove it, but I can't figure out how to unscrew the 4 "round" things. Please see my galery for the detail pics.
I'm also worried that when I received license plate from Maryland, how can I install it if I can't unscrew 4 "round" thing.
Anybody knows how? I really appreciate your knowledge.

Those are just covers for the screws. You should be able to pull them off by slipping something flat under it and prying.

Ya - what mauberley said. Except if they're "malable" (or soft plastic) you may not be able to reuse them. My dealer put some on to match the Euro plate I had (one screw top was blue, one white), and I couldn't put it back on again after...too messed up.

Just did it.

Thank you so much for your sharing your knowledge. I just removed 4 round caps, unscrew, and move the "checkerboard" fram to the back. It look much better. It matchs the side checker design.
