Euro Liscense Plates

Euro Liscense Plates
I just purchased front Euro Plates. Ive had my Cooper S since 2007 and I got a warning, and recently a ticket for not having front plates. Does anyone know how to install front plates? Has anyone done this? I have no front holes on my front bumper. I have everything that Euro Plates sent me. Plates, frame for the plates and screws. Any experts on this?
Thanks,
Jorge

Go get a Craven Speed Platypus plate mount.

It moves it from the center to the toe hook. No drilling required.

Did you get pulled over and ticketed with the euro plate and therefore you're going to put on your normal plate? I had friends get a euro plate that read their actually plate numbers, but Police will still give you a ticket even if your euro plate lists your license plate numbers. You'll need to run the Colorado front plate to avoid getting a ticket unfortunately. For another viable option, check out the Rennline Screw In Front License Plate Holder HERE, which has the install instructions as well. You have an option for straight on or angled.

Oh man they're notorious for handing out front license plate tickets at pearl street! (I'm from Boulder). Because of that I would always park in the parking garage on Spruce and Broadway because they can't ticket you in there. Even anywhere in Boulder, if you park on a public street they'll get you pretty quick. I didn't have a front plate on my car for a while so I got a few of those in my time. I had to rig a quick fix to put the plate on for when I parked until I got time to figure out a good way to mount mine. If you do get pulled over, that's a $75+ ticket.

Yes, if it's not the state issued license plate you will still get a ticket. As I said above, I had a close friend run a euro plate with his license plate number on it and still got hassled for it. Even if you put your front plate in the window inside the vehicle, you'll get a ticket. You'll even get a ticket for parking on the street in downtown with either the euro plate on front or the plate displayed in the window. I had a guy pull me over when I didn't have the front plate on at all and literally said, "It's a pet peeve of mine when people don't have front plates." Some officers are pretty strict about it.
