The SEARCH button on the far right of the thread listing helps narrow things down when you're looking for an item.
You may have to scroll the results, but answers are usually out there.

 

Unless you were referring to a post other than the one you linked- that's not a 2008 manual. Also, a PDF version from MINI would be searchable; the one in the post you linked is just PDF'd images.

This would be the first I've heard of an official 2008 PDF.

@ Berilion: out of curiosity, does it cover the USB port instructions?

 

The manual i got from ASK MINI is the official 2008 handbook with NAV.
I did not read it all yet, so i have to check about the USB port. Do you want me to send the pdf file to you?

If you wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate it. I don't have an 08, but I can compare the two manuals and tell if they're any different. I'm also pretty curious how they address the USB port...

If you use the 'Advanced' reply, there's a paperclip icon that you can click on to upload things. ()There's a 5MB limit, but hopefully the official PDF is smaller than that.
