Hmm... couple of views, but no one seems to know. I put an email into 2 vinyl wrapping companies, maybe they can do it?

On a side note, for sport stripes, what is the general consensus on having the stripes put on the bonnet scoop? Yeah or Nay?

I'm sure the place that did my vinyl wrap could handle doing a couple stripes.

i called them - they will MAKE you stripes and install them but they wont install stripes you already have from another company. i tried. i had part of my stripes installed at the dragon by Lyle from Vinyl Styles and its not as hard as it looks. he only had time to install the bonnet and boot stripes (btw go over the scoop is my opinion ) but im going to finish up the rest when i get back from my trip to LA. if you want some insight or some help your more than welcome to come to the island for a hand.

let me know what you plan to do. what color stripes did you get btw?

I was VERY pleased with Speedworld in Elmhurst Queens. I ended up with a very good, thorough job which looks great. They took off the spoiler and did a proper wrap. Make sure you speak to Steve Szabo... everyone else there is a bit of a moron. Steve was really nice, and was as adept with the graphics as he was with the application. Here's their info:

Speedworld: (718) 651-6541

Here's a picture of my two babes:

When I asked that question, Ed at CooperFlags gave me these links to check out: http://www.uasg.org or http://www.pdaa.com

now that it seems the purpose of this thread has been satisfied, I'd like to take advantage of the fact that there are a few NYC people responding here...

If no1 is busy this weekend there is a large two day MINI meet on long island called MINI-Q. Should be a good time. If this is the first time you're hearing about it, you can PM me details or see the last page of this thread:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=113214

Hope to see everyone there

now back to your regularly scheduled threading..

Just thought I'd check to see if anyone found a place in NYC for stripe installs.

Thanks,

Morristown Mini uses someone outside to do their vinyls. Morristown Mini gave her the name.

My wife used the guy to do the Cooper S sides and cost her $135.00 total for vinyl and labor.

Which borough are you from? Or where in the burbs? Might have a few places in mind.

I live in Brooklyn, but work in Manhattan. Manhattan would be preferable, as I would drive to work that day (which I do, like 2x a year)...

This Sunday I'm getting together with the http://www.tshared.com web master and we'll be removing the old bonnet stripes ('05 MCS) and installing new ones I bought at Prestige today. I also bought boot stripes from Aesthetic Creations.com and will be installing them as well. I also bought a new "Cooper S" badge in case the old one doesn't want to reinstall. Wish me luck; I'll take picks. The parts guy at Prestige indicated it could be very difficult and that I cannot return them no matter what goes wrong. I acknowleged that fairly obvious fact. We'll see how it all goes. If it somehow gets screwed up, I have no one to blame but myself for attempting it. I saw a video on YouTube of the boot stripes install and it looked very straightforward - with patience. I have that.
