Wow! You hit the jack pot there. I'll be getting mine next month and I'll be happy with just mats. Anything else is gravy.

The 3 piece cargo netting comes standard with the car. if you did not get it you should ask your MA about it.

Something just occurred to me that I don't remember having seen on this thread. My guess that a big factor in how much "loot" you get when you buy your MINI is how many options you purchased.

I received 2 key rings, 2 packages of mints, and a certificate for $50 off of the purchase of accessories. (All purchasers at this dealer also pay a $399 admin fee in addition to the car price...it's stencilled on all the doors entering the BMW and MINI showrooms). I also talked them into charging me only (?) half of the $199 price of the 5-piece rubber floor mat set. I then said I wanted to apply the $50 coupon to the floor mats, so I ended up paying MSRP, plus $399, plus $50 for the mats.

Where I'm taking this long-winded discussion is that I paid $25,800 (before tax, title, and license fee) for a 2009 MCS. A lot of people evidently load up on options and end up paying $27,000-$32,000 or more for a loaded MCS. Because most of the profit (for both BMW and the dealer) comes from options, they can afford to give out more "loot" when you spend a lot more money there.

I'd guess that if you ordered a completely "bare bones" MINI (no options at all), you'd probably get a hearty handshake, a pat on the back, and "happy motoring".

Don't forget about the big 'old receipt you get to bring home. My MA framed mine for me. Nice guy.

Horse feathers. With MINI dealers selling the cars at full MSRP plus admin/doc fees, they're making plenty of money, even on bone stock vehicles. MINI corporate fronts the gifts that are mailed to new owners, the rest is from the dealer. Ain't nobody hurting there. The nicer they are (or at least appear to be) the more we buy into the MINI "experience," and the more enthusiastic we are as ambassadors.

Every time I take my car into the dealer's shop, the check-in guy hands me a box of MiniMints.

My kit arrived just outside of 4 months after purchase and our SA gave us a Mini steel/leather key fob with MINI on one side and the dealer name on the other. Looks nice, though, not cheap at all.

My HOA just repaved my parking place, so I think it's time to use my Mini Parking stencil, which I received separately from anything else I've gotten from Mini.

No stencil so far; any Clubman owners out there who've gotten one?

I received 1 BMW (not Mini) key ring, a certificate for $650 USD off of the purchase to be use in accessories. I received later on the mail a nice mini box (blackboard) with some mini magazines and publicity, a letter from MINI MEXICO, an invitation to join the mini lounge and an ipod shuffle silver colored (match my mini). Like a month later I got a call from MINI MEXICO asking me about my satisfaction...

I got to pick which floor mats (front and rear) I wanted and the boot mat. 2 mini key chains. Plus first dent removal via dent wizard free. Then all the other standard mini corporation stuff, pens, notepad, stickers......

Whoa. That's just wrong. The roadside assistance card isn't optional to hand out, is it? I thought it was a requirement for the MA to hand those out with your owner's manual.

My MA told me that the card would be in the mail, he never mentioned the MINI Adventure Kit.

The MAK Box had checkmarks for Coupe, Clubman or Cabrio, so expect that there are three versions.

It took 21 weeks for mine to arrive and have yet to see any stencil.

It seems these gifts are a bit random. I don't recall getting anything after the sale! Would have been nice, but our MINI is great, so that will do!!

I can't figure out if you're supposed to use the stencil on the front or back of the car, or both...

Got my Mini Adventure kit today. Ho hum. At least they care enough to send out something but it really isn't all that exciting, except for the nifty pen. I'd rather have gotten the cookies or a merchandise voucher than a bunch of junk that went straight into the garbage.

We got a MINI Adventure Kit, some mints, a couple Ralph Schomp keychains (nicely made), and the Roadside Assistance Card was in the manual portfolio I believe.
