Seatback Loose? Am I Nuts?

Ok you may think I am nuts but my Drivers side seatback seemed pretty loose. AKA When I stopped the back part of the seat would jot forward and I would feel like I am not held in place and moved forard. So I brought it to the dealer to get fixed. I got it back and it is still loose. Compared to the passanger side seat, when I take my hand and move it the passanger side backrest does not budge at all. The drivers sid emoves about 1 inch when ts giggled and ive check the lever by the rear cupholder and adjusted it and made sure its locked in and it is.

Has anyone else experiecned this at all? The servide advisor said it was hist first seat problem in a 07.

I mean I have been in alot of cars recently and Ive moved their seatback and they dont move at all stiff as a board.

I dont want to sound nutty just curious of anyone else has had this issue. Its just one of those "drive you nuts its gotta be perfect" thing for me. :impatient

My wife's Honda has a recurring problem similar to this. We have had the mounting bushings replaced 3 times because the chair turns into a rocking chair every three months. They said there is a TSB for it, but no permanent fix. I just have to keep going in and having it repaired.

I know it's not helpful, just thought I would share.

Have the dealership swap out the seat and mounting hardware. Unless it's the holes in the floor where the bolts go that are buggered. In which case... er, uh.... get the mounting hardware welded to the floor

OK so its happening again, my drivers side seatback is loose. I sit in the passenger side seat and its perfectly fine nice and firm. I grab the seatback and you can feel it's loose then I do the same to the passengers side and it does not move.

I had it fixed a few months ago and its returned. I just want to know if anyone else has had this issue with their drivers side seat. Of if its me Just when I brake the seat moves a litte and its just annoying to me.

i have the same problem with mine (thread somewhere on this site). I brought it twice for them to check it out and they said it was a defective frame. It was replaced and was fine for 3 months. Now its doing it again. I give up on it.

I weigh 190...

and my car does this... but only after a slight fender bender with a lady in her mini fan... there was no damage.. just a bit of shock from the impact...

I'm like 150. I have friends sit in the passeneger seat all the time and its not doing it yet and they are much bigger than I am. When I got it fixed they replaced the things that make the seat recline so I dont know if its them or something else in the seat. Its just Ive sat in other cars and the seatbacks dont move at all.

To clarify its the seatback not the part your but sits on. The seatback what your back goes against is loose when I brake the backrest moves forward slightly and just annoying.
