R56 Picked up my 2007 Chili Red/Black MCS last night.

Nice color choice!!
Our MINI is ready to be picked up and will be coming home tomorrow, with driving lights and JCW kit installed!
Just like yours (Chili Red with Black Lounge Leather) but with a white roof and stripes. Hopefully this one lasts longer than the last one did!

Very nice color combo! I have the same color combo, with the lounge leather, but different stripes.

Hey that looks like the Habberstad MINI dealership on Long Island. If I am right, join the US MINI Club of Long Island. They are having a meeting for members this weekend (12/9) on Sunday. Website: www.miniusa.com
Your car looks great. Mint color choice.

You're right!
However, I'm not going to be around this weekend :(
So I got the JCW Tuning Kit installed on Wednesday and it was raining. Thursday it was snowing. Friday the roads were wet. So I wasn't able to get on the car to enjoy it.
Well, friday night, I'm pulling out of a parking lot and the lot was wet. It was 38 degrees out. I go to turn left in the parking lot and the car keeps going straight. Baam!!!! Right into a curb buried under a snow bank. Only that 10 foot section of the lot was frozen!!!
The bumper got knocked slightly out of alignment and the rim was wacked really hard. Now there is a lot of oscillation when I drive the car.
I went to MAVIS Tire and had the wheels balanced. They were all fine except for the one that had the impact. They balanced it and the oscillation is still there. It sounds and feels like driving over grooved pavement. The sound is not constant but the intervals are consistent, regardless of speed. MAVIS could not do an alignment because the car is too new and it is not in the computer yet. I'm going to drop it off at Mini on Monday.

Total bummer...I hope it is nothing big either.....I just don't know what it could be. I kinda doubt it is the alignment because the car drives straight when I let go of the wheel. It also makes the noise while coasting (in neutral.)
Maybe something's rubbing in the wheel-well; the bumper or cowling?? :impatient

Now I'm really glad I put off picking up my car because of the nasty weather. I hope yours turns out to be an easy fix.
