Picked up a 2013 Highgate this month and want to get new stripes...pretty faded already. I found a decent looking knock-off on eBay for $100.

Nice pricing there but do not see the Highgate package stripes: black/brown/blue

 

I know they state they can do really anything and any color. Look at post #7 and #9 (for contact info) here on the FAQ page.

Well, they're pretty responsive and nicely priced. But they don't seem to know exactly what the Highgate stripes are. They indicated it would be Blue/Black with empty space in the middle for the brown paint to show. That's incorrect...it is one single/solid stripe including the brown in center.

I'm sure they could do it but would they have the exact sizings of each color and total stripe width exact? I'm not sure.

I found for $20 more that stripemymini.com offers this and in a pretty exact description and money back guarantee too boot. So I'll probably go that route. $80 vs. ~$150-$200 from the dealer it seems. Not bad.

 

Maybe you could show them a picture of the stripe you're wanting? Otherwise, from the other place that's not bad at all. Might be best to go that route.

 

First think they asked for...so I sent them a shot from online. That's when they thought it was blank in the middle section for the car's paint to come through.

So I ordered from stripemymini. Their site had HG stripes featured as an item and everything in their description just made it feel right. They were also $20 cheaper than the ebay site linked above and of course a good bit of savings vs. dealer/oem.

Fingers crossed...they're exactly what I think they are when they get here.

 

Well either way, I'm glad you got it handled and were able to find a good source for your stripes. Be sure to post up some pictures once you get them installed.

 

Well bummer. Stripes arrived yesterday but the coloring didn't match. The blue was more teal vs. HG baby blue...and very bright/gloss vs. matte. So back they go.

Stripemymini didn't seem interested in correcting but simply stated those were less oem exacts vs. replica's for those who liked the design. Wish their site description indicated they may not be an exact match...would've saved some time.

Guess if you want OEM, you have to pay OEM pricing...

Any other HG owners replace their stripes...experiences?

 

I want to get matching high gate side stripes for my 2015 cooper s convertible. Any ideas?

 

Post a picture of what you are looking for. If it's a multi color stripe, most likely there will be a base color vinyl then the other colors will have to be printed on that base color vinyl.
