New mods, 1 pic for today, more pics to come.. *UPDATED*

Hello everyone.. I just recently purchased an R56..and well, you'll see the colors in the pics below.. I bought new wheels, springs, swaybar, and rear endlinks.. Last night was fun.

Sorry I only have one phone picture as of right now, I haven't been home yet to grab my digicam to show the true colors and better quality, but it's also raining here (p.s. this is before I put the centercaps on)

The wheels look very cool with the lowered stance...

What springs did you install?

Thank you.. They are H&R Springs. I purchased them from Alta wednesday night, they got here by Friday.
It was also a very fun install.. what should have taken a couple hours ened up taking 7 lol..but it was all good in the end. *Make sure those endlinks are TIGHT!*

The rims are Enkei RPM2. The color is called Hyper Black and I purchased the 17" rims so I could reuse my stock runflats for now.

Visit Enkei's website to check them out: http://enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RPM2.html - take out the spaces.
-or-
I purchased the rims from " http://www.edgeracing.com " They're local to me, so ground was only 1 day shipping. Thursday morning ordered, got here Friday.

Like I said, I'll hopefully get some high res pics tomorrow if the weather is nice out. The rims look a LOT better in person than on the internet or when I photoshopped them...

Did the H&R springs lower the car much?

Wow I did not even think that was laser blue your camera makes it look so different, although laser blue comes out different in every photo. I LOVE the black top and dark tint, very hot. I was debating over black or white roof but I had to go with the white for the heat factor! I do still love some lab/bl

ps i like the rims better without the cover

junior1459:

Is your Antena, the Alta 2 inch or the 4 inch?

Nice rims by the way, how much do they weigh?

I forgot to measure it from the ground up, but yes, it is a significant difference.. The photo I have on here so far, is pretty much what the drop looks like.. I'm not sure how much more or if it will settle any more, but a stock R56 is like a 4 1/2 finger gap I believe while this one is about 2 snug fingers... check out some stock ones at the dealership or cardomain.com or on here, i'm sure there's plenty of ones (I don't have a pic off hand of what the stock height is) I'll post those tomorrow as well..

mystfynyou - As far as the wheel center cap cover, it'll all I really have, because of the way it mounts to the rim (not a snap on like the stock ones), I don't have a choice but on or off - when they're off, you see a bolt/nut in the middle of the wheel from the rotor behind it -- doesn't look good at all, so that's what I have for now..doesn't bother me..and the center cap is pretty sweet up close - at least, quality wise lol)

The antenna is actually a Minspeed one... only because it was local to me at the time and I needed an antenna because of what happened to mine: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=113664
It is a 4" however.. I think the 2" in my opinion was a little too small...

The rims in 17" form like mine weigh 18 lbs..
I kept that size because of the stock tires I reused.. If I did it again, I'd go 18's, but probably a different lighter-weight brand.. I just really liked this design.. I'm happy - and that's what counts! lol

Thanks for the comments so far.. Can't wait to take more pics tomorrow after a fresh wash!

Resurrecting an almost 2 month old thread

junior1459, thanks so much for posting the numerous pics. I'm deciding on whether I should get these wheels or not (also from Edge Racing) and this thread is a great help. How are they holding up thus far and what tires did you get with them? I'm considering the Falken Ziex 912's.

Here's to hoping if I do purchase these wheels they'll look as good on my PW/B as they do on your MINI.
