More rare than a unicorn

Considering that when we took our clubvan in to our local MINI dealer, they had no idea that the model existed, two of them in one place has to be more rare than a unicorn.

The bike shop that we ( a coffee roaster) share space with, got their "new" 2013 clubvan today. It arrived with 19 miles on it, and still has the full factory warranty.

We're all pretty stoked about having two clubvan's at the same location and are both working at getting graphics added to our respective clubvans, and we'll post more photos once we get it done.

Very cool, and funny the dealer didn't know about the model but not surprising.

Wow! I've never seen one of these state side. Good to know that there's at least 2 out in the world! What are the odds??

I am curious how it's different from a Clubman inside because on the outside it looks like a Clubman with vinyl over the rear side windows. Are the sides metal where the Clubman rear side glass windows would be? Any additional features for locking down cargo? Yes, please upload pictures!

From what I remember they had no rear seats and were setup like a work van. I tried to get my father in law to buy one for his business when it came out. They would be great for someone installing satellites and whatnot.

Below is the thread I started when I first got my clubvan. There's some talk about the differences in it and a clubman along with a link to an article about them. The attached photo is from that thread too. Main thing is paneled over the windows and then no rear seat so it's completely flat.

I like it. It's a little difficult to see how deep the cargo area is in the photo but knowing my Clubman with the rear seats folder down I can imagine. So is there glass in the side windows that's paneled over on the outside, or is there a panel in place of the Clubman side glass windows? Is the paneling protected from getting dents on the inside? I'd really like to see a closer photo inside the cargo area.
