Mud flaps for the Clubman?

Do any of you have mud flaps on your Clubman, and if so, do the work well?

On the 'net I've seen plenty of places to buy them (front and rear) for the regular mini but not for the Clubman. Do any of you have a link to where these can be had?

Thanks...

I bought mine at the dealer and installed them myself. They look real nice, they make the car look lower, especially from the back.
I haven't driven in the rain since I installed them, so I can't say how well they work.

Mine look great on the Clubman but do nothing for keeping the rear any cleaner. There really is nothing that will help that due to the design of the rear of the car.

The sides do stay slightly cleaner thru mud etc so I was very happy with that.

Got mine at the dealer, have to agree with Schatzy, they don't do a whole lot.

Thanks guys!

I also notice that the Clubman is a "dust magnet" - especially the back! I drove it in a rain storm and it was impossible to keep the back window clean enough to see out of. I used the window cleaner once every minute!

Does a rear spoiler help? How about some other suggestions?

Oh...does the coupe have the same problem?

Given that the color scheme of my Clubby S is like yours, I can tell you that the mud flaps enhance the look of car (IMO). I, too, bought them from a dealer and installed them myself. Once I got the hang of it, they were installed in a short time period.

I decided not to get the mud flaps. I have had mud flaps on past cars but looking at the Clubman and the plastic/rubber around the wheel wells as well as the contour, my thought is that dirt, etc would not be as big a concern on this car compared to others that I have had. My thought is that I do not miss having mud flaps. So...individual choice. If you want them, get them. I agree with other posters regarding bigger issues - The rear hatch gets dirty fairly quickly and same goes for the wheels - Wheels get dirty fairly quick from brake dust. Brake dust never has been an issue with any car that I have previously owned. Anyway....these are minor housekeeping nits. Love the car.

The rears are different for the Clubbie, fronts are the same. I found mine at British Atlantic. I like the looks, makes the back end look a little lower and maybe wider, but I'm not sure how much of a difference they've made as far as keeping the back end cleaner. I've learned to live with it, but that doesn't mean I like it. Relatively easy installation.

I agree that the cars design does a pretty good job of keeping the dirt off teh sides but have found that the mud flaps on the front do help a little bit on the muddy roads near me.

As for brake dust that can be rectified by going to ceramic brake pads. A friend has bright white rims and his are always clean. He runs ceramic pads and they throw of almost no dust. Of course I being stingy let MINI put new OEM pads in during the maintenance period. so when those were out in another 10k miles I will be going to another pad that has less throw off of dust.
