white exhaust smoke on start

I've had my 09 clubman about a month. This is the first time this happened. I started my mini after work and a huge cloud of white smoke came out of my exhaust. But that was it. Didnt smoke again after that. Is this normal or is this a symptom of something big?

White smoke is a possible sign of coolant in the combustion chamber. Keep an eye on your coolant level.

I can't smell anything sweet.
I'll check my coolant level when the car cools. Looked at it yesterday. Is there a hot and cold line or a min /max?

So i checked my coolant. Its the same level it was yesterday. The smoke only happens when i start the car after work. Its not a constant thing.

Maybe just condensation accumulating in the muffler and evaporating after the exhaust warms up,... with the warmer weather, more humidity in the air,... but I would keep an eye on the coolant level and oil health for a little while just to be sure

Yea, how much smoke, with humidity and a wet rainy day that's cold, you will get some white smoke that's just condensation, easily dissipates.

No smoke today!Checked the coolant level today, no change. I'm thinking it was either bad gas or condensation. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the check, the humidity and cold mornings can make allot of water vapor.
