R55 2011 Clubman gauges
2011 Clubman gauges
Has anyone installed extra gauges in a 2011 Clubman S yet?
I have an A pillar mount that I purchased and would like to install a couple of gauges.
Just wondering how much work and how accessable they are to hook up.
Will I need special adaptors or should they hook right in?
Looking to add oil pressure and water temp.....
Thanks

It's like hooking gauging in any other R5x platform.
However, I haven't seen a properly clean a-pillar installation.
Many use the bracket kits that install behind the the tachometer.
The wiring and hose connections need to go through the firewall for oil pressure and water temperature.
Depending on what gauge package you get, they typically come with all the adapters to splice into the existing fluid lines.
If you're mechanically inclined, it's a half-day project or so for both gauges.

Cravenspeed has gauges and mounts available.

Another option is the Aeroforce gauge, it just plugs into your car's OBD2 port.

There is also Scangauge2, it also plugs into your car's OBD 2 port.

Still trying to decide which Gauges to buy.I do most mods myself so shouldnt be a problem just didnt know if there would be any problems.

Full trim replacement? Or just a bolt-on / self-attached pod?
I'm very interested in a full trim replacement (or fabric wrapped) if it's available.
