Buying a pair of motegi sp10's and there 4x100 17x7 with an offset of 40 from craigslist for a great deal.... Will they fit with that offset ? Also will i need to buy new lugs ? Or will the stock ones work ?

Offset is fine
You do not need new lug bolts
Stock lug bolts will work.

I am just curious what you are doing with just two wheels.

Haha!, just bought the Motegi 17x7's in Black! with Hankook ventus V12's... so excited. I should be getting them on Monday, will post up pics after I slap em on. I also got some H&R 25mm spacers... should be interesting.

 

Such a solid set of good looking rims ! YES, please post a picture of it with those spacers on ! Good choice on tires to by the way .

 

@slinger688 well for your info picked up the rims and tires tonight and the stock lugs(more like skrews)do not fit !only had a mini a week now and had no clue that they have skrew bolts insted of lugs ! So, All I have to do is buy a small bolt to fit in the rims hole correct people ?

 

There are three choices:

There is a lug stud conversion kit you can buy from WMW that will fit. The holes are for the older 12MM x 1.5 mm and the newer Minis are 14mm x 1.25 mm thread.

Or you can drill them.

Or you can get some tuner lug bolts with the smaller heads. The wheels should come with them.

My track friends have Motegi SP10s and there is no problem with their fit.

 

just going to get tuner lugs with a small head...Wheels did not come with them :(v thanks for the additional info
