I need some second opinions

I'm taking my car in tomorrow to get some paint touched up and I can't decide what to do, if anything, with the chrome around my headlights and grill. What would you do? Here's a picture of the car for reference:

Thanks!

Get rid of it. Black it out, in my opinion. Definitely on my list of things to do.

God, this blackout fad needs to die already.

It doesn't even look good. Its just changing something for the sake of changing something. These cars need some kind of accent or the lines and contours just blur together and it looks awful. Chrome on a black car looks the best.

I like the chrome too.

But if you're going for the plastic look, then you might as well eliminate any metallic (looking) bit you can to make the entire thing look disposable. ;-)

I wouldn't touch it. I don't like too much chrome or chrome rims. If you had chrome mirrors I'd say change those out, but I'd leave the rest. It's not too much chrome. While the back of the car (I checked out your other photos) doesn't have chrome like the front, that's fine because you don't see the back when you see the front.

Resist the pull of the dark-side grasshopper. A bit of chrome accents the curves & is a good thing, IMHO. Nice ride.

Isn't the murdered (black-out) look rather passe by now? Chrome and black is a good combination.

Stick with the chrome accents...the Matte Black Primer look just doesn't work for me, my oppinion. Looks like you took the car into the shop to have it painted...ran out of money and couldn't afford to have them finish the job. In other words, it's half baked!

I'd keep the chrome. The car looks great!

Matte black to match the body.

It is what you like that is important!

Perfect as is. Or paint them Orbital Orange, or 'Lectric Lime...

Black & chrome is always a great combo...keep it just the way it is. Maybe some pin stripes...like a rat rod.

Dude, there are purists, and there are custom builders. If you are a purist and want to keep your car amongst the originals, that's fine. Nobody is knocking you for that. So please don't say anything about the people that want to black their cars out. It's not a fad and it's definitely not changing something just to change it. I express myself through dark matters of the heart.

To the OP, nice color choice!!!
