Need input Black or White Grill Trim

HTClubman and I are going to the AMVIV in March, I have been to PMing with Lyle to get some work done on our Pepper White I am looking to dechrome and clean up the look. So far I have decided to go with White on the Head light rings, White on the gas cap, black on the beltline, I am just unsure if I should go with Black or White on the grill trim, my first thought was Black, but since I want clean lines I have been thinking about White. The doors handles just cost too much to do them in vinyl right now.

A couple of other questions how does the vinyl last over time? It is better to use vinyl or just get it painted? I have read on threads about using Plasti Dip about people who painted their headlight rings having problems over time.

Black grill trim with white headlight surrounds will look off. Go with white-although I don't think it'll have the effect you're looking for. Just my opinion though.

Thanks for the input, I found a picture of a Mini Fireman's Clubman which is white headlight rings and grill, so I will go with the white, I like the look of it and I like the clean look.

you might consider powder coating, there is no fading problem with that. It is like diamond hard and fade resistant. I did by Blk/White Harley with a lot of Blk Powder coat. Your thoughts sound cool to me. Also, I think blackening out the grill trim enhances more, as it makes the grill look larger. If your car is pepper white, I'd go with black headlite trim also.

I have black "JCW" trim on my PW. Makes the grill look bigger.
