2 points to make:

1. Dude in the red hat...AWESOME head nod in the beginning.

2. There should be more people recording their purchases.

Can someone confirm if that guy is leasing or not? I heard the financing guy mention "wear and tear" protection or something so Im assuming he did lease it...

Very good. Well done. For the first two minutes I thought it was gonna be a story about two Rubes getting ripped-off over the internet. I found it interesting that the dealer finance guy had the exact same tone and spiel about buying the "extras" like tire and wheel insurance. They must have to go to special training in acting nonchalant.

A couple things did disturb me. These two characters were more than a little creepy. What was their relationship? They looked homeless yet had money for a MINI and nice video cameras. They were supposed to be from California but acted like the "typical" pushy New Yorkers I deal with around here. Drug Kingpins?

The MINI MA has to be the oldest in the Western World. Maybe it's a West Coast thing but he sure didn't sound nearly half as excited about his product as the MINI employees I've met.

And sorry, I still don't like the Clubman. Kind of defeats the purpose of being a "MINI" in my book. Personal choice I guess. That yellow Cabrio looked awesome though.

 

I found more videos on these guys they get in all the exotic cars at the auto show, how did they do this they are always roped off. Too funny

Don't laugh. He must be one of them since he "found" the videos at the same time they were first posted on youtube. I like them so much I subcribed to their future adventures. This is much better than watching all that election garbage on real TV.

 

Sorry I am not them But I would love to have there clubman. Maybe they will trade me even for my less than steller 03 mini. Not!

Heh, that was fascinating. Very similar to my experience as an out-of-state Internet dweeb buying a Cooper Clubman from the very same dealer. I never got to meet my actual MA due to a personal emergency he had on the day - so the F&I guy delivered my car. He was very pleasant, actually, if not completely accurate in his walkthrough. Not that I cared - having been thoroughly schooled in features via NAM :-)
