Well, no one ever said the Brits were very good at picking parking spots. Reminds me of a person I know who backed into a telephone pole and blamed it on the pole. Come to think of it, he was a Brit.

Speaking of stupid, note the way the guy jams the driver's door into the concrete railing footer at 40 seconds. That's going to leave a mark. Bloody he11!

The rear passenger could've step aside to close the suicide door, then he's free to walk away like the driver did. It's not that hard to figure out.

Interesting that the suicide door is on the same side as the US version even though the steering wheel is not.

pfft, Easy solution.. it's also on mazda rx8s and some pickup trucks. When you open the suicide door and climb out, step forward (towards the sideview mirror) and close the suicide door, then step away from the front door and then close that door.
But i'm sure everyone knew that, right?

Another interesting thing: I've heard from a few Brits that they don't like the location of the suicide door. Like on the North American version, they wanted it opposite the driver door so they don't have to worry about heavy traffic when letting someone out of the back seat in busy spots, especially places where you parallel park. I don't mind the location either. Either side would have worked fine for me. Now, does anyone know if MINI is planning a Clubman with two suicide doors?
