After two months, I finally hear word that my car will start production in the beginning of November! I know, its still a while away. But apparently the dealership has had a lot of people bailing out on their orders once their number was up! So I got moved up a few slots! Anywho...

After punching in my production # into the owners lounge it listed my clubman as a different color where as my Vehicle Inquiry Report given to me by my MA via email showed the correct color. Is it possible that the Mini hasn't been able to refresh the previous owner's production slot to correctly display my vehicle? Should I go ahead and register on the owners lounge anyways?

 

yes, don't worry, the color is probably just from the car that was in the slot you took. it should update in a few days. happened to me. so what color did you order?

 

I ordered my Clubman this past weekend, and my MA warned me in advance that the lounge will show the wrong color at first. He made it sound like it happens all the time.

Sure enough, when I registered it showed all options correct, except the color.

I was quoted approx 6 weeks until delivery.

**edit** I just checked my status online, several days after my first attempt, and it now shows the proper color I order (Hot Chocolate...previous showed black). So, I recommend you also give it a few days.

I ordered Lightning Blue w/ black top. I didn't go all out with the options considering Im in my senior year of college. Maybe after my lease is up and Im making a few more buckaroos I'll splurge on the next one haha.

Just keep in mind that we are all crazy about our cars and want you to be as well.

 

I've been hanging out here before I even put my order down 2 months ago! AH! My GF can testify to how badly I want it, I tell her everyday, "I want my Clubmaaaaaaaaaan!" Ha ha. If I go anymore crazy I'd end up stealing one of your Clubmans for a weekend haha.

 

Same thing happened to me when I first log onto the mini's lounge... but then it shows correct order details after a few days.
