Nobody was hurt in this particular fire - but LOTS of people were evacuated from their homes. In fact, they have not yet returned as there is no power or water in that area.
Mike and I both must look like total retards sometimes in the car....
We both drive with our cameras out and on - ready to shoot....His cell phone also has camera capability but mine does not.
As soon as we see one, we both yell "There's a CLUBMAN"!!!!!! And if we miss one - which we have due to traffic or whatever, it's "CRAP - THERE IT GOES DA%M IT"!!!
I'm usually the spotter - "here comes one on the left or right" but you can't really tell if it's a Clubman until it's right next to you or already past...
Most of all - we have fun on the road looking for them...

Joep, I don't know if moving to CA will guarantee more Clubman. I live just 15 minutes south of downtown San Francisco...I would've thought this would be ground zero for Clubmans! But boy, I haven't captured one for about a month!!! And in that time, I've only missed a couple. Anyhow, I think So Cal is Clubman central at least for now.

Hi Great People! rasputinj had an 'after work' function and took our new Clubman to show it off...so unplanned, I asked him to come back to work and pick me up because my Dad wanted to see our new vehicle (we work at the same company)...so he did. After he picked me up, we got gas and while waiting, low and behold - down the street comes a Clubman!! Our sunroof was open and I'm yelling to rasputinj 'get your phone! Clubman, Clubman!!' and of course it was in the car (with me) and rasputinj was NOT in the car! Long story short, I took this shot after the driver asked me if we 'bought a diesel'...to which I replied 'uh no'...Enjoy!! Thank goodness I stayed at work late and he picked me up late!
PS - I had to 'stalk' to get the photo...because the driver didn't seem to friendly, I waited for him to go inside to pay for his gas and then I quickly snapped the shot and drove off! Sneak-y!

My weekend to work last weekend - walked out of my office into the parking garage and I about fell over this one - LOL!!

Four of us were out motoring today in the mountains, up near the Dragon. We were pulled off at an overlook taking photos, when this AB/S Clubbie pulled in! I was sooooo excited to see another Clubbie!!! **happy dance**
He ended up doing some motoring with us, and joined us for lunch. KEWL!

Happy Monday! Caught this one on the way to work today on the 101 south/23 junction. Followed her and she waived. She has good choice in colors (PW/B). Maybe this is the one we keep seeing?!
