Crappy picture - I only had a split second to get this one before it got on The 5 to go north - I had to fumble around in the dark to find the camera in my carry bag - I usually have it out - but this time I didn't. The train was late because some nice person decided to take their life in front of another one....very sad....

Yeah it's a sad thing. It starts happening around this time of year a lot I'm sorry to say. The Holidays seem to bring it on and with the economy the way it is, I expect that it will happen a lot more...

That looks like our Clubman did you drive all the way into Ventura County to stalk me on the way home from work? I think HTClubman was bummed today that I drove the Clubman and she did not. It is sad when people decide to take their lives..

Please stop stalking us, I will try to get HTClubman take less pictures.... I am amazed at the number of Clubmans we see. It does make me happy to know that a lot of people we see paid over MSRP at Bob Smith and Universal City Mini and we did not......

I promise to not stalk you any more....

I haven't been out to Brecht MINI in a while - next time we are out that way, I'll have to ask our MA what the mark up is on Clubmans these days. We paid MSRP but I'm sure like you said, there are a lot out there that want one and are willing to pay whatever the mark up is...

Here's a "capture" of two, with an interloping MCS in between them. Does it count if it was a "capture" on a run? Oh, oh, just reread the rules...sniff, sniff...so I will have to delete the photo.

Wait Otra, why did you disqualify your entry? Did you capture it while you were jogging? There's nothing wrong with that.

This capture is a good story. While rushing to work this morning (running late for the start of an all day training), I spotted a Clubman heading north on the 101...My iPhone was plugged in to the stereo/adapter in MY Clubman, so I was trying to merge into traffic, catch up with the Clubman in front of me, shift, and unplug my iPhone all at the same time. Success, my friends! Well, I wasn't able to catch up with this person without seriously breaking the law...but enjoy!

Whoot Whoot, is that a DS Clubbie, hot!

I have a couple to post that I captured recently. One I had to go to Austin TX to find and I'm in Seattle. They are a rare breed here, though today at a stoplight a PW Clubbie passed me this morning, too slow on the camera grab, shoot!

Parkerton, funny that you mentioned this, I was in San Francisco for over a week and a half and didn't see a single Clubman! How can that be possible? Saw over 20 Coopers (including convertibles) but no Clubmen! I don't understand.

Yeah, I really don't get it. There are a ton of Coopers, but very few Clubmans. Maybe San Franciscans are MINI purists (at least purists of the BMW variety)?

re: Bay Area lack of Clubmans.. you guys got that right. FINALLY I spotted one on the way to work on the 280 extension toward the 6th St. exit. I was getting off Mariposa so only had time for this quick photo. You guys are going to have to trust me on this one .. the whitesh blur at the top of the photo is the PW/B? clubbie. The only other time I saw one happened to be today at an intersection - a clone of my PW/B.

alright, time to get in the game. here are a few, and i have a few more that i need to get off a memory card i have somewhere.

So that's mine on the left, and another clubbie my wife and i ran across in downtown LA as we parked for a pre-season lakers game. Actually we parked a block away, saw this clubman, and i ran back and moved my car up so we could park behind it. Notice the pure silver MINI in the parking lot in the background.

Walking to coffee near work, saw this one driving by and snapped it with my iphone. I think it belongs to a woman who works at CAA since I've seen it around a few times. I saw another DS/S driven by a different person the other day but didnt have the chance to snap it.

Main Street Santa Monica. This was a sexy looking clubbie but you can't really see so much of it. My wife wanted to make sure to get the oxygen blue MINI in since that's her favorite color. The clubbie had driving lights, checkered mirrors (wish i had gotten the cold weather package, i love the way the mirrors turn in) and checkered scuttles, and a badge that said slow traffic move right.

A few more to come soon.
