Just finally had a chance to download stuff from the weekend.
This one was on The 5 - San Clemente area..not the best picture in the world because it was dark and at Freeway speeds. - Saturday night.
This was also on The 5 - going south - Carlsbad area. - Saturday morning.
Off The 56 near The 15 - Sunday.
Sunday morning - shopping center in San Marcos -

LOL!!! I missed 3 others in traffic - WAY too much traffic around me and the Clubmans were going the other way. It wasn't worth taking my eye off the road. I hear ya - Dang it!!!

As much as I love the Clubman (Coming in 3 weeks), Im going to miss being 1 of 3 2004.5 VW Jetta GLIs in Blue Lagoon that I've seen in the 4 years of owning it.

Thanks!!! PS - shhhhhh....I'll be posting another one tonight. Went out for lunch today which is a rare treat for me - and low and behold - there was one parked on the street near the restaurant we all went to...
Everybody thought I was plain nuts - asking why do I carry my camera wherever I go! THIS is why I said - LOL!!!

Believe it or not, there still aren't THAT many Clubmans around - although - they are starting to show themselves a bit more frequent lately. I'm sure you'll miss your VW - but - I think you're going to see more attention paid to the Clubman... Both great cars!!!

and thumbs up I've been given from random drivers of all kinds of vehicles. Must be the color. Either way, I live in the Inland Empire (Riverside). So Im pretty sure there won't be too many Clubmans around here. I've only seen 1 in the last 7 months of looking.

NeuroticRobot - Donna is very special in her Clubman 'skills'...you will probably not see that many, really! It's uber exciting for most of us when we do. I saw another today on the way home on the 23 Freeway, but it was going the opposite direction ...and I couldn't snap the picture.

Here's the one I saw at lunch today. A block from Richard Walker's Pancake House downtown San Diego. Very yummy place to eat by the way if any of you ever get down this way. Open from 6:00am to 2:30 daily - only for breakfast.
You all are funny!!! I'm just having a streak of good luck - we all know we can go WEEKS without seeing any - then they all come of the wood work. It's all pure luck and it's been said before - being at the right place at the right time.
