cleaning inside rear window

I am a smoker and am trying to figure out how to access the inside rear window on the ragtop to clean it.

I have the same issue and there is no easy way. I just crawl in the back seat on my knees and do the best I can...

I know this is a different car....and I only have had 1 days worth experience with a mini conv. but....on my moms bmw 3series there is a position when the top is going up or down when you can stop the motion(releasing the button) and clean the window.....if this does not work...what about the hinge (the one that helps fit larger items into the trunk)....can you open that and reach?

Open the boot.

Release the two locks and raise the window - rotate one of the locks back to its resting place.

Remove the cargo cover.

Spray the inside of the window with "Invisable Glass".

Wad a newspaper sheet and wipe vigerously (sp?) across the glass.

Throw the newspaper to the ground.

Wad another newspaper sheet and "polish" the glass.

Pick up the newspaper, throw in nearest trash can, reinstall cargo cover, lock glass, and close boot.

Go in the house and wash newsprint from hands.

You will be amazed how clean the glass is!

Add so vinegar to the equation and you will get cleaner glass, as the vinegar cuts through all grime. newspaper real good to use....

You might get more room to maneuever if you fold down the rear seats.
