Some new pics

Did a couple of things recently, grilles and clear arches, and some engine bling and here are a couple of new pics of the car.

You can't even tell I was in the accident on the passenger side a month before

Looks amazing! I love all the clear lights. Where did you find the side arches? I'd really like to get all my lights to be clear someday... I wanted to buy the white light package but I had to sacrifice it to get the color I wanted.

I got them from Way Motor Works. He did not have them on his site, but I was buying some other stuff, and I asked him if he has them, and he did.

Nice pics - especially third one down with the "transparent" hood and the underhood bling shining through - really cool. My favorite color too -

Thanks, it's a cool photoshop trick the photographer does by taking pics with the hood up & also down.

Went to the track again this past weekend. Shasta MINI's had their 2nd annual Mini Thunder at Thunderhill Raceway. I went up a day early and participated in an HPDE put on by Hooked on Driving. Here are a some pics from the weekend, and a couple of videos from the first day.

I love your car as I just bout 2006 MCS CoB and feel your choice in rims really make the car look much more masquilin. Where did you get them and exactly what are the. Also, did you tint your windows. And lastly where did you get the grill moods Your car is the nicest Mini I've seen yet and makes me feel much better about my purchase. ( 2006 MSC with 26,000 mi for 16.980 ) Great work! Clint

Thanks! I bought the wheels from this company, http://www.esmwheels.com. They are 17's, and they were a very good price. I don't think they have that exact wheel anymore, but have others almost identical. My windows are tinted. The grills are from M7, http://www.m7tuning.com/parts/produc...products_id=22

grill

Brad, when you did your grill and took of the chrome edging did it come out looking that clean paint wise or did you have to touch it up or repaint it? The clean line of that lip really adds to the look. Again I really like your car as it looks cool, classy, and not too tarted up as some do. Your look will look great twenty years from now, whereas many of the pics I see look a bit dated already! It is amazing how much the color changes with different lighting! From looking at your pics it seems you may be in a Beatles cover band Rubber Soul. My last name is Delp and I have a relative who was also in a Beatles cover band, but was much more famous for his other band, perhaps you've heard of him. We used to live in Marina Del Ray and I used to catch a Beatles cover band out there. Wouldn't be freaky if you were them with me being out here in Boston! Thanks for getting back to me. Clint Delp

Thanks again, no, I did not paint anything, my car originally came with the grills in the matching color, no chrome. And sorry, no Beatle cover band for me, can't play an instrument or carry a tune.
