Crazy Azz Bank...

I went to the bank today. As you know Im trying to secure a 2008 MINI cabriolet S w/ 5500 miles on her for 24,500. The stupid AZZ bank counter offered 20, 000 This is BS because Ill have to empty savings to BUY her, OH shes worth it, but I wonder how the F these people make their decisions. Tha Car is worth 28 G resale????? I hope I resale her to a bank person.

PenFed

Where did you apply for your loan? Have you considered PenFed? I heard about them on this site, all good things I think. I'm in the middle of the loan application process myself with them. They had the lowest rate I've heard of: 4.75 up to 72mo. Just a thought. I know it doesn't really address the craziness of your bank.

Perhaps you don't realize that approved loan amounts are based on employment and credit worthiness...

What interest rate is the bank offering you?

What down-payment amount did you offer the bank when you submitted the paperwork?

IN response to above questions..... Employed for 6 years same job, no down payment, I have the absolute best job security, you cannot be fired from my job and I was asking for 24,000 US Dollars.
Im a healthcare Specialist, I live in Europe, the car is American, so is the bank.
Yes I am aware that that job experience and credit history are taken into account for laon approval My credit is 770, the percent is 5.9%

To update you, I got my loan through a different bank with 4.2 % rate. I now have a R56 S loaded hard top, and an 08 Cabriolet (Super Charged) I want to thank everyone for your tremendous insight and compassionate understanding

Hold on my friend

Hold on tight my friend
I'll be by soon with your warm milk and fresh cookies. I'll tuck you in and read you your night night story. Plus I'll leave the sack of newly minted euros under your pillow.

Ugh, give me a break.

I'm sorry

Hey Matt,

I'm sorry for the sarcastic *** response I gave the other day. Yeah, Banks suck sometimes. Sorry I was feeling cheeky and smarmy and other adjectives ending with -y. congrats on the machine.

Luck has nothing to do with it. I simply have a good amount of $ coming in and very little going out. I choose to bank with 3 credit unions who dont over loan themselves, oh and 1 bank. The bank did turn me down, however I only had 100 dollars in that account
Oh and to Answer the other persons question.....Yes I have a R52 S 2008 model, And a R56 S 2007 model. I am selling the R56 for a R32 MK 5
