R50/53 Break Dust Noise
Sounds kinda like a dealer excuse to do nothing.
I have that problem too, there are a few other threads re: this issue as well. I'm convinced it's due to cold weather. I noticed mine disappeared when it got warmer, but now that we have another cold spell, the sqeal is back.

Im at around 5500 miles and my brakes sqeak on occasion. I dont mind and its not often. Ive been brought up thinking that when theyre working, brakes will squeak. With racing pads im sure would be alot louder, but im not there yet.
This problem has been around for decades. The squeek is actually a high frequency virbation bewteen the Back of the pad (where it touches the caliper piston, not where it touches the rotor). It's more common on wider pads and on pads with semi metalic content. The way to stop it is to remove the pad and and spray the steel BACK of the bad with Permatex Brake Quiet (there are other brands too). It's a sticky stuff that absorbs the vibration by essentially adhearing the bad to the piston. You can also buy shims that are peel and stick that will help. Moss sells them under the Mossmotors.com web site (not mossmini.com) because it's very common in Triumphs.
I've even had occasional success by spraying the back of the pads with paint and quickly aseembling before it can dry.
Brake dust has nothing to do with it.
