A freakin key chain...and I had to keep asking for it. Then the manager came over and gave me a shirt (2 sizes too big), an earpiece for my cell phone...and that's it. Good for you for getting so much!

Even my Honda dealer gave me a nice stainless steel one with
a removable ring and matching pen set.

I got $50 to use on MINI merchandise at the dealer boutique (I picked out 2 shirts and a keychain). After delivery I nagged my MA constantly about the glove box and how stuff kept falling out until he caved and hooked me up with the glove box organizer. I thought that was fair, I truely didn't expect anything to be thrown in. I had never received anything when I purchased previous vehicles.

I got two metal key chains and two pens (both engraved with dealer info). I think that's pretty weak for a $30K+ purchase. I think in would be more in the MINI spirit to do AT LEAST the $50 gift cert.

I didn't get any cutsey stuff. I got a free alarm system though. Not complaining. I'd rather have the alarm than a keychain.

I got some of the accessories thrown in gratis:

Rubber floor and boot mats x 2

Glove box organizer x 2

Checkered Valve Stem Caps

Had to put up a mild fight for those but wasn't TOO hard to get them.

72 months? Holy Schmoley!
I'm obviously not up with car financing but is six years common in financing cars now? (As you can tell we don't buy a lot of cars and don't finance for six years)

being 17, i had to stretched it out as much as possible to make it so i could afford it . I should b able to pay it off atleast 6months early, but I wanted to be absolutly sure that I would be able to make the payments.

I got the iPod adapter. At first they were going to charge me for it, but since I added the roof rack and complained so much about the installation (too expensive) they were kind enough

Well now that explains it. You know, an extra $25 a month applied to principle goes a long way to cut it down fast. I think it is REALLY good when kids (sorry, 17 makes you a kid to me) buy their own cars. I think they appreciate them more. But then I'm just an old fuddy-duddy so what do I know. But look at it this way.... you make those payments and you'll have great credit!

I got the Mini rubber floor mats front and back, the nice metal Mini keychain, the big cup holder accessory, a matching Mini diecast car, and Mini mints!

I was very surprised and extremely happy with my purchasing experience. Went through Classic Mini of Mentor, Ohio. One of our sponsors here...great folks!

i agree that im a kid, and until i turn 18, my name legally cant even be on the loan :( so one of the payments will end up going towards my dads credit, then when i turn 18, and i get my name on the loan. the rest of the payments will goto my credit too.
