I didn't get anything at the dealer's.

But since then, I've gotten a much higher positive feedback ranking on my eBay account.

 

For MINI #1, I got a tee shirt, MINI mints,a MINI cap, a nice stainless steel keychain, and paid MSRP. For MINI #2, I got floor mats, MINI mints, another nice stainless steel keychain, a motoring CD, a very nice zip-up MINI sweatshirt, and paid MSRP. I have been very pleased with Long Beach MINI...they are great to deal with and have been very kind.

 

I got free tires, plus the air that goes inside as an extra bonus. They removed the wax shipping coating from the car for free. And last but not least, they gave me a break and didn't make me pay the lot exit fee!!!




Just kidding. I got a notepad and pen is all, but had to pay for a windshield shade. Didn't have to pay markup, though!

 

I got floor mats and decal stripes for the hood. (I actually just took off the decals a few days ago.. Im changing up my mini a bit)

1 keychain

1 set of rubber mats
1 extension mat for the boot.
2 box of cookies in the mail

 

Sorry for the rant .......but this thread was started by a kid who's daddy bought him the car. and was excited about the free stuff his daddy negotiated.....

Reminds me of that south park episode that was on the other night when they adopt the eithiopian kid to get the free sports watch

 

With Egguin we got free valve covers with the Union Jack on them. With Angelina the dealer sent us the most yummy triple chocolate "mini" cake. yum yum.

The cake was much tastier than the valve steps :p

03 MCS: Free rubber floor mats and cool key chains.

06 MCS : Free rubber floor mats, cool key chains and a $500 discount. Then when we arrived and they screwed up the delivery and had to move it from Saturday to Monday, they added two MINI Varsity jackets and the IPOD connector.
Worth the wait.

I got carpet floormats, with just a "what no floormats?" comment. A keychain, and an obsessive compulsive Zanio disorder.

 

I've had my pre-owned mini for 7 weeks and just got a thank you note from the dealership. I guess if you buy used you get nothing (except the mini mints ha ha). The card would have been a nice touch if I had received it in a timely manner. But really, they could have just given me a key chain for the same cost of the fancy thank you note that was sent way too late! Glad my car is not as slow as the dealership!

 

I forgot to mention that the early buyers of MINIs in 2002 got a cool, one-of-a-kind tee shirt with a graphic on the back that read like an odometer, showing which number MINI you had purchased from the dealership. Each dealership that signed onto this special tee shirt program had a limited edition of 250 ONLY. I think mine was 000194.

 

A fun to drive BIG HEADACHE!

 

My keychain fell apart after 3 weeks of use. The Mini ensignia is gone!!!

 

Sorry for the late comments on this post, I am sure the interest in replying may be long gone, but just curisous as to what the more successful drivers said to their MA's that landed them some great stuff like the floormats.

I really want floormats, a window shade, a keychain, but would settle for a sunroof graphic or window tint ...tee he.

 

I got a $50 gift certificate for MINI stuff, a couple of keychains, decent treatment, and the FINEST little smile-generating, pulse quickening, good gas mileage, eager commuter / twisty-loving MINI.

I would have paid more for it, but they only wanted list.

 

i got:
-three mini t-shirts
-mini base ball cap
-mini gripper ink pen (orange)
-bonnet stripes
-i hope they throw in a key chain when i take delivery!

 

I did pretty well... I got the following for free: rubber floor mats (front and back), bonnet stripes + installation, tint + installation, a metal MINI keychain, MINI mints, and then a house plant yesterday deliverd to my door, lol... That was sort of odd, but hey, it's welcome!

 

But how on earth did you talk your MA's to give you all that stuff?
