R50/53 What did you get when you bought your MINI?
Before I even ordered I said to my MA, I know that MSRP is the bottom line, but is there any kind of wiggle room anywhere else? Thinking maybe they'd budge on the doc/dealer prep fee - but he threw in the $200 accessory credit without any pressure, saying that it was what they do as a goodwill gesture. The caps, key chain and cookies came without any asking.
Thanks Doodlez, I will probably be asking the same question. When I was debating over the options before I ordered I asked about the installation cost of the White Sunroof Graphic, but it was more than I wanted to pay so I turned it down...that would have been a great way for my MA to win some mad points with me.
Oh and BTW, great color choice.

Too much to mention publicly.
Don't know how you guys wiggled so much out of your dealers. I paid MSRP got a miniature version of my car (brg/w) and a metallic key chain (that does nothing but drop keys every ten seconds so I dont even use it). They did find the car for me at another dealer and bring it in though, so I guess I should be grateful....
Damn. well check this out:
I havent picked it up yet. I got 400 dollars off of MSRP without asking. I got floor mats, the carpet ones. (I will pick up a set of S rubber mats before it snows). I also got the ok to swap out my wheels and tires there for free. They are doing it on pick up day
be nice to come home in full Konig Rewind bling.

A full tank of gas, keychain, rubber floor mats, a wind-up Indi Blue MINI, a Margarita set (long story) and then when I announced I was pregnant, sweetheart Julie sent me a MINI Bulldog. The MINI bulldog is proudly displayed in our son's room! So yeah, I feel like I got quite a few goodies!
MA: Dennis Miniero (best of the best)
I never have heard of Keeler.
Where do you live?

thats cool

I got the mints and keyring in the car (they were sitting in the cupholder!), and then the houseplant just arrived at my door on Saturday... Oh, and I forgot I did get a couple of (pretty cheap mind you) licence plate holders and a tank of gas...
Only bad thing I experienced is that they got my address wrong when they registered my car, so I'm hoping they can fix it and I don't have to and stand in line because of their one-digit mistake
I got a $50 gift certificate (used it on the glove box organizer and two key chains), rubber S floor mats (my MA actually paid for these himself), all of the documentation that came along with my car (including a laminated version of my window sticker, the original window sticker, and all the build sheets from the Oxford plant), and a gift basket at my door a couple weeks later which included a MINI hat, two Starbucks travel mugs, some coffee, biscottis, a can of assorted nuts, pretzel/chip bar mix, and a business card holder. [Whew, that's a long sentence!] Oh yeah, and the coolest car in my neighborhood
That is a great thing to have, I am so glad you mentioned the build sheets from the plant, I will definately want that with my car. So does the car have the window sticker on from the factory if it was a customer order?
I reside in upstate NY, in a town called Pulaski. Keeler MINI is the closest Dealer to me and they are in Albany NY.Thanks Steve

ooo thats far away. I have to go to a town called Troy this fall. I think it is near something you are near
They took a family photo, gave us two key rings (thin wire and yellow paper with stock numbers/ description) a full tank of gas, and a monthly payment!

I didn't get a single freebie when I purchased in NJ. It was especially dissappointing because I could have gone to a dealer 10 minutes away, but chose the one 1.5 hours away because of all the great things I heard about the service and freebies.
Granted, I didn't ask for anything...but didn't feel like I should have to from what info I heard or read. It's not a "courtesy gift" if you have to ask for it, is it?
